As a little girl, Cecily was encouraged by her grandmother to sketch without an eraser, and to look down at her paper only when absolutely necessary. This casual approach inspired Cecily to pursue a design career, and she earned an associates degree in graphic design in 2004. Her background in publication and printing comes in handy at Athena Communications, as does her experimentation with ceramics, print making, watercolor, letterpress and photography.

Cecily enjoys solving the visual puzzles of design composition, creating the sweet spot that constitutes great design. She believes that each piece must be unique and memorable in a world crowded by marketing stimulation.

Over her long career, Lisa has provided on-target strategy and copywriting for both traditional and emerging media, tackling everything from marketing plans, collateral and advertising to SEO-enhanced websites, digital vehicles and social media.
